A small family winery from Pelješac

We make our wine only from grapes grown in our own vineyards.

Romazin is a small boutique family winery on the Pelješac peninsula. Every wine we make comes from grapes grown in our own vineyards at Dingač and Potomje.

From vine to bottle

Our story

  1. I

    From grapes to wine

Our family farm in Potomje first grew and sold grapes from its own vineyards. Making our own wine was the natural next step: the same vineyards and the same knowledge, now in our own bottle.

  2. II

    Only our own grapes

Every Romazin wine is made from grapes from our own vines. That is how we follow quality at every stage, from the vine to the bottle.

  3. III

    Plavac Mali

We work with Plavac Mali, the native grape of southern Dalmatia and of Pelješac above all. All three of our wines are made from it.

  4. IV

    Guided by an oenologist

Production runs under the expert supervision of oenologist Robert Brkić. The aim is steady quality that keeps the character of the grape and the site.

  5. V

    Small series

Small quantities mean we can give every vine and every barrel full attention. That is why our wines come in limited series.

The story in our sign

The tunnel to Dingač

Before the tunnel

Grapes from Dingač were carried on foot over the hill. Donkeys brought the harvest down to the village.

The tunnel

A tunnel dug by hand linked Potomje with the vineyards of Dingač. Reaching the vines became much easier.

Our sign

We carry that tunnel in our logo. It joins the past and the present of our winegrowing.

Where it all starts

Vineyards

Our own vineyards are the base of everything we make. Their small size lets us look after every vine on its own.
